What monitors connect to Dell laptop Inspiron 15 laptop?
I have Windows 8 on a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with touch screen. I need separate monitor so I can view it straight ahead, rather than looking down. Do I also need separate USB cord to connect it? Trying to be economic rather than buying a desktop computer right now.
You will be able to connect any laptop to a TV or projector using a cable. Some TVs have a PC input that will connect via a VGA cable. Other TVs will just have HDMI inputs which will connect via a HDMI cable. Your computer will have outputs with either VGA or HDMI connectors. If your laptop output doesn't match your TV input you can get a cable that will match both ends.
Not familiar with windows 8 but with all other versions of windows you would have to press the windows button plus the letter "p" and it would give you options to extend, duplicate, or project only your display. If you search for projector in your start menu you will find the option.
