220 volts is very dangerous and needed operate this dryer and these cords have the insulation needed to protect me and my dryer from any surges or if something was to fall on the cord it would not penetrate it.

Much stronger than the vinyl vent hose

If something falls behind the dryer it won't clamp or crush off the vent from working properly or cut a hole in it and have lint flying everywhere.

Why does my dryer take so long to dry?
I just purchased the Samsung 7.4 Cu. 11 Cycle Steam Electric Dryer and my clothes take forever to dry in it. Is there a secret to making the clothes dry faster?
Mine is not like that but to help drying time I throw in a large dry towel in with it, it's a proven solution.
