I wanted to replace some incandescent and compact florescent bulbs because of the heat they generate and waste energy with heat this was a great product shipped to my door quickly and they do not get hot to the touch. This particular bulb is not dimmable but you can buy dimmable led bulbs,if that's what you need. cant go wrong I will reorder.
