Although the Shuffle has been around for a while, it really is a nice, simplistic personal music player. It is a plus that I can plug it into my car's auxiliary port and play music from my music list.

One of the best action movies of all time. For a character that only says one word, Groot is a scene stealer. And Bautista, not known as an actor, plays Drax beautifully. The way he delivers lines is beyond what we would have gotten with a known actor.

A masterful suspense thriller

Having read the book, this movie pulled off the same feelings of suspense, horror and anticipation that I had when I read it. The acting is fantastic all the way around and how could you not like Anthony Hopkins iconic portrayal of Hannibal Lecter? The plot is dynamic and I have to hand it to the director, Jonathan Demme, for pulling it off. Too bad the other movies associated with this one were not as impressive.

It's a blast from the past.

This is the original dystopian story that others, like Hunger Games and Divergent, are built upon. With a protagonist placed into a no win situation, he must face his own beliefs for the lies they are and then return to change the society in which he was raised. Peter Ustinov is wonderful as the old man and Farrah Fawcett has a small part that plays into her wheelhouse. Even with the flawed costume, I loved the appearance by Roscoe Brown as well. Although you may laugh at the special effects compared to today's standards and some overacting/underacting by the main characters, this is still a great story.

This is going to be a great prequel to the "Lord of the Rings" movies. In the opening scene, you already have that tie in but, make no mistake, this movie has a different feel and approach than the Ring series even though it is by the same director. There is almost a comic feel and, considering what comes in the book, I'm wondering how that will play out in the last movie. Still, it is epic and grand with great cinematography and wonderful acting and effects.

What's not so great: Waiting for the next installment is hard.
