This is a great player! the battery life is long and it works great with audiobooks. I would recommend this player to anyone looking for a basic MP3 player that has a long battery life. My old player got to the point that it only held a charge for about 3 hours. This one goes for over 30hrs. the sound is great, but I also am not that critical on the quality of the music, it doesn't sound any different that listening to a CD.

Yes it does you can hold down the right/left arrow on it to fast-forward/rewind or push it to skip/go back a track.
