My computer's speakers crapped out on me suddenly and I needed a cheap and quick fix. So I got these. They work, yes, but the sound quality is not adequate for me -- rather tinny. They served my purpose until I could get another, better quality set of speakers, but don't expect good sound. On the other hand, they're far from better than nothing! Your mileage may vary, as it is said!

I got tired of suction-cup mounts that would fall off unexpectedly, and that are quite fiddly to attach. I had my doubts about how well this mount would work, and was concerned that it would not hold well to the top of the dash, but it turned out to work quite well. I am very happy with it!

For such a simple item there isn't much to say except that it fulfills its purpose and works well! I keep it plugged in my full-time live power point and it doesn't seem to use any current to speak of when the car is not running. It charges phones and other devices as well as a wall charger does, so what's not to like?

Puts my phone exactly where I need it

I've had suction-cup mounts that worked OK, but liked to fall off at random times, so I was hoping for something that would work more reliably. And this fits the bill! I don't listen to CD's much when driving -- I have most of my music on my phone, in fact, and I can plug that into my Aux input and listen over the car's system -- so filling up the CD slot with this item is not a problem. The mount puts the phone at just right level, too. I suppose if your CD slot is much lower it might not be well-positioned, but my CD slot is close to the top of the dash (it's a van I'm driving), so I don't have to look down to see it. The mount is very stable and can't fall out! The magnet is also quite strong and holds the phone securely. I really like this mount!

Unexpectedly good performance!

I have a very good Canon flat bed scanner, but in order to scan a multipage document on European-sized paper the bed was too short. Since the condition of the bound book the document was in required that I cut out the pages to scan separately it occurred to me that a sheetfed scanner might work, but I was worried about the quality of this scanner for the price. One gets what one pays for, but it turned out that this scanner did the job like a champ! It was good that the scanner comes with a transparent carrier because the paper I needed to scan was rather delicate. Of course the carrier is not required to scan things.
This scanner is a valuable addition to my home office! To say that I am pleased with this its performance is to understate it.

Does Best Buy sell or can they recommend a magnetic type of cellphone cradle that can be used in a 2014 Honda CR-V. If so will they interfere with the vents while running the heater? Also what type of cellphone cradles does Best Buy carry?
I don't know about a vent-mounting, but if you're willing to sacrifice your CD player, there is a magnetic mount holder that I use and really like: "Scosche - MagicMOUNT CD Car Holder for Mobile Phones" (Model: MAGCD2 SKU: 5867869). It holds my phone really well, and if your CD slot is high enough you won't have to look too far down to see it. The mount is not hard to install or remove. You do have to attach or install a little metal plate on or in your phone to make it work, of course.
