I am a business owner, have 4 kids, and drive a 5 speed convertible. This is the perfect storm. I am on my phone all the time but can not always hold it to my ear. I needed a blue tooth that would not only stay in but also have impeccable clarity in a windstorm. This wonderful little bud does all that and more. Bose is known for the quality in their products and they have conquered the mountain with this one as well. The only thing lacking is there is no notification as to the battery charge level. I have tried many, many blue tooths over the years and I will never need another.

Battery life & replacement question
If it has a 4.5 hour battery life and im going to be charging every day that means atleast 365 battery cycles per year. How many years might the battery maintain its full capacity? 500 cycles? 1000 cycles? Apple laptop batterys i remember quote 1000 cycles and some external battery packs state 500 cycles. And if it does lose its capacity will the battery be replaced free of charge by Bose beyond the 1-2 years? Its probably not that relevant as hopefully series 3 will be out then... But its one of the most expensive headsets on the market so wanting more than 1.5 years good battery capacity is not unreasonable...
compare the price of investing in a good headset as opposed to buying multiple less expensive but less quality headsets. Loose one business deal because you decided to go with a headset that dropped a call and you will realize how foolish your theory is.

No. the headset will only beep with incoming calls

Can you control the headset from the phone?
We have a handicapped employee who is unable to get her hand to her ear to control the headset. Can she control it from the phone?
Yes. You can control the volume as well as answer and hang up calls.

why does my bose bluetooth series two only beep when calls are coming in and it play music on text and emails and everything else
This is based on the settings in your phone. Check these settings and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Can you voice dial?
Calling the people in my directory from my headset is standard for me. This headset I understand is a few decades behind in some respects. Is there a way to overcome this in a practical manner on the Android platform (Galaxy Note 3)?
I also have the note 3. I am able to voice dial using the android voice commands. It is seamless!!

My Bose Bluetooth doesn't hold a charge.within 1 hour it's dead...can you replace the battery or what do I do? Please help
You can not change the battery in the devise. Contact Bose for a replacement. My battery has yet to run out and I use my earpiece constantly. Phone calls to directions on my GPS.
