can tv wall mounts be hung in a corner
Yes. There are several options for their. There is a mount that pivots. Check out how it pivots and mont to the side wall close to the corner then pull it out and just for the corner.

I accidentally threw out my 50" LG flat screen tv stand...do they sell those anywhere????
You can usually go to the manufacturer site and find a customer service number. I bought a Phillips TV a while back without a stand and called the manufacturer. They sold me one at a reasonable cost.
