Dive right back into the Mushroom Kingdom for another classic gameplay experience with everyone's favorite characters, Mario and Luigi. Of course, Princess Peach has been kidnapped yet again by the malevolent Bowser, but the bros. have a new and gilded objective to complete: collect as many gold coins as humanly possible. Mushroom Kingdom glows with the light of mountains, caverns and even characters made of gold, and Mario will not rest until Peach is safe and the gold is his.You can still count on the action-packed fun that the Super Mario bros. franchise always brings to the table, but this time, with added golden opportunities like turning enemies into golden versions of themselves and a gold flower that gives Mario the ability to turn almost anything in his path into gold. This game keeps a running tally of every gold coin you've collected across all the levels so you can monitor your progress. Team up with a friend who can play as Luigi in the new two-player mode that allows you to use wireless Internet to tackle the adventure. Play in Coin Rush mode to see how many coins you can collect across three levels, and then challenge your friends to beat your record with StreetPass. No matter how you play, you'll soon be catching gold coin fever and the only cure is to grab your 3DS and play more New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Just shy of greatness

New Super Mario Bros 2 keeps the classic franchise chugging alone and it does so quite well. Platforming really is where the 3DS shines and it is evident here. The game is a lot fun and looks great as well.
The biggest draw backs are that it is pretty easy to "beat" the game in the traditional sense (to play through the levels to completion), and doesn't take very long to do so. Going back for coin challenges and such add length but it is worth keeping in mind.

What's great about it: Fun platforming
What's not so great: Quick to beat, easy

Then explore Liberty City as The Lost biker gang member Johnny in The Lost and Damned. A great addition to GTA IV

The best thing about Episode of Liberty City is that it got you back into GTA IV in a completely new way. New characters, new story line (that weaves into the original in a very clever way) and completely new ways to play the game based on these new stories. A game like GTA starts to get a little old after a while, and this was a nice shot of fresh air to the game.

What's great about it: Whole new set of stories and characters
What's not so great: Not a lot of replay value

Great album, don't let its popularity fool you!

Mackelmore is proof that popular music can also sometimes be good music. While Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us have been a bit overplayed on the radio to say the least, The Heist is a very solid album that deserves the attention it has gotten so far. There are really only one or two "forgettable" tracks, that aren't bad, they just won't be the songs you skip to first. Additionally, the album comes with a book that essentially has cover art for each individual song as if it were its own album. Pretty nice touch in a day when most CD's just come with a single piece of paper for cover art.

Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster, now looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.Grand Theft Auto V is the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar Games has yet created and takes full advantage of every ounce of processing power available in the current generation of consoles. In order to provide the best possible experience for such a massive and detailed world, the game will have installation requirements on the Xbox 360. Grand Theft Auto V will ship on two discs; Disc 1 will be used for a one-time mandatory install and Disc 2 will be used to play the game. After the install, players will be able to enjoy both Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online without any need to switch discs. This initial install will require an Xbox 360 hard drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive (sold separately) with at least 8GB of free space. If using a USB flash drive, it must be at least USB 2.0 with a minimum 15mb/s read speed and formatted for Xbox 360 use. A new USB flash drive is recommended to ensure optimal performance.

It's Grant Theft Auto, what else is there to say really? Rockstar once again doesn't disappoint fans of the beloved franchise. The world is bigger, looks better and this time you follow the story of several characters instead of just one. Really it is pretty hard to go wrong with anything GTA.
