Outstanding value for a big screen 4K TV

I was amazed to see this 65" 4K TV on a one day special for just $599 at Best Buy. I grabbed it, even though I had just purchased a 55" 1080 TV a little over a year ago. I wasn't sure how much better the picture would be since almost everything I watch is still just 1080p or lower resolution, so I set up the new Toshiba next to my existing 55" 1080p TV and watched over-the-air HD content on both from just 6 feet back. You could easily see the better resolution on the larger Toshiba TV so it must do some upscaling. The colors are bright and nicely saturated with deep blacks. I haven't done a full calibration on it but it can only get better.
I like the Googlecast feature once I set it up on my iPhone. The TV will display a nice rotating selection of artwork if you don't have anything else playing on Googlecast. I am looking forward to learning more about the options available in Googlecast.
The remote is very minimal (no buttons to select TV channels when watching over-the-air, just an up/down channel choice, but since most will use their cable controller this is probably not a big issue.

I was delighted to find this All-in-one Core i5 Dell with 24" touch screen on sale at Best Buy. It is a beautifully designed PC with great speakers, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse - perfect for use when you have limited space but want more than a laptop. Big hard drive (1 TB) and plenty of RAM (12 GB) Windows 10 works fine. My only complaint is the lack of detailed owner's manuals, either printed or stored as PDF files. I went to the Dell website and downloaded them but they should have been included. I haven't really used the touch screen feature yet but I believe it will be useful eventually.

Great movie, filled with inside jokes. Deadpool is one of Marvel's best characters and this version makes lots of references to other Marvel movies as well as to Green Lantern (Ryan Reynolds previous superhero movie) There is even a Ferris Bueller riff in the closing credits.

Hello, I have the pet cross wave, i am getting tired of the cord being on my way all the time. I would like to know if this battery one is as powerful as the pet crosswave one. especially picking up Cat Litter ? ( most important feature for me) , thanks.
I own both the PetPro Crosswave and the new Cordless Crosswave and I believe that the cordless unit actually has more suction power due to a much tighter fit on the filter. See my review for more information.

Yes, the suction process is continuous, whether the roller is spinning or not.

Is it possible to turn off smart illumination and turn the back light on and off manually?
Yes, you can turn off the backlighting completely or change the maximum illumination level. There are two keys (shared with F6 and F7) which control the level of backlighting. However, be aware that the keyboard has an ambient light sensor which turns off the backlighting automatically when the room background light level is at a normal level so you may not need to turn off the backlight.

These LG units will cool an area of about 500 to 700 square feet, depending upon the height of your ceilings. With an 8 foot ceiling you can expect to cool up to 700 square feet. With a ten foot ceiling you could cool about 500 square feet. See my review where I describe the use of these air conditioners in a large commercial lobby.

Does this a/c unit have two vents in the back? one for input, the other for output? Do you have a picture of the rear of the unit?
Yes, the back of the unit is where the air is drawn into the air conditioner for cooling and there is also an exhaust port for the hot air coming off the compressor.
See my photo. The white hose is connected to the exhaust port. The rest of the back has vents to allow air to be drawn in.

It has two full-range 10 watt speakers and two 10 watt woofers (a 2.2 channel sound system) and uses those speakers to create a full Dolby Atmos surround sound from any source material which is has Dolby Atmos information encoded within it.

What does full array dimming and full array dimming "Pro" mean between the two models on the SK9000 and the SK9500 respectively? Also, how is the quality of up conversion from 1080p to 4K on the SK9000 or SK9500?
LG has not disclosed the details of the full array local dimming systems used on either the SK9000 or the SK9500. Some sources state that both use 128 LEDs in the array.
The up-conversion from 1080p to 4K on the LG 65SK9000PUA is excellent. I have that television and ran some tests which indicated that the up conversion was being done very well. You can also use a magnifying glass on the screen to see the interpolation. Really an excellent video image generator!

Yes, the LG 65SK9000PUA has full array local dimming. The number of LED used is not given by LG but one source stated that it was 128.
The LG 65SK9500PUA was the 2017 model and it has very similar features. However, every year manufacturers make many small changes to their TVs so I would go with the newest model.
