I am setting up my router and keep getting a message that I have no internet connection when doing the Asus setup. I change the configuration and plug straight to the PC and internet is fine. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

It's possible that you need to log into the http://router.asus.com to set up your router completely with a username and password and whether you want it secured or open.

What is the warranty period on the RT-AC1900P? On the Best Buy website it says "unavailable." One of the reviews states that is only 90 days. And another review says there is no warranty at BB. Routers sold by ASUS have 2 year warranties.

There usually is always a 1 yr manufacturers warranty. But maybe that is a 90 day return if unsatisfied? I got the 5 yr geek squad protection plan just because it's an electronic.

Does this router connect to wifi, but you can use it for your computer plugging it in with ethernet or does it have its own wifi. im using this to set it up next to my computer for better connnection

You should be able to use this router for wifi and if you choose too, you can ALSO have it directly hooked up to your computer i believe. Just read the instructions in the manual on how to hook it directly to your computer.
