Washers that will work with 2in well 1/2 pvc 30psi but has long fill time
Which would work better. Front or top load? I was told buy a repair tec that because we have a
well no front loaders will work. Not sure if there is any truth to that. Looking at the Maytag
750wq. I disagree that it takes a min of 200Psi. I received 0 help from Maytag on this issue. Can
you help us with any make model that would be friendly with us having a well? With a 2in well
there is only so much constant water pressure. ½ pcv plumbing can only flow so much at that size.
Are old timer type worked fine. Speed queen 372. It just took longer to fill. This type of well &
piping are normal in this area. We can not get city water. We believe in quality not price.
Thank you & please help us.
We are now on our second front loader it works just fine with a well!
Some ignorant "tech" was feeding you a line of - well, the stuff that comes out of the southern most end of a north bound bull...
Your well fills a pressure tank which is factory set to deliver water at between 40 & 60 PSI. Also front loaders use LESS water than top loaders. (The primary reason we bought one - less strain on the well)
As for the 1/2" PVC, even if your house was fed by a 20" water main the hoses that feed the washer are 1/2 inch ; )
Oh, yes, 200 PSI would probably blow out the molded plastic connections for the washer hoses...
