De La Soul Return With Smooth Hip Hop

It doesn't sound like what you'd expect, but it's a cohesive well produced album with some pretty high points. Really like drawn, here in after, whoodeni, greyhounds, and exodus. Not a classic by any means but a really solid showing and I struggle to think of an album other than life is good that's this good this late in a rappers / groups career.

One of Khaled's best. I sampled the album before buying and was satisfied with the production. In support of 808 Ray, who produced the beat for "Nas Album Done" I had to purchase. This beat also samples the Fu Gee la song from the Fugees and me growing up in the Upper Vailsburg/Ivy hill section of Newark,NJ,felt it was only right to support. A++

The Huntsman: Winter War

This movie gets off to a bit of a slow start, but once the love-hate-love element of the story gets rolling, it adds up to good quality action, adventure, drama, romance - even a bit of drollery. Chris Hemsworth and Jessica Chastain are appealing actors who have good chemistry with each other, and the dwarves are entertaining as well. Might as well check it out!

Good but not great

If you've heard rumors that the prologue of this movie makes Batgirl out to be a bit too much of a fangirl, I hate to say it, but you heard correctly. The prologue has it's moments, and it's a fun bit of animation if you're a fan of the original animated series. Several moments in it seem kind of awkward, though, so be ready for that. The prologue ends on a note that connects somewhat well to the Killing Joke, but the transition from the prologue's story to the Killing Joke still feels jarring, and it seems something's just not quite right.
Once the prologue ends and the Killing Joke begins, though, the adaptation is excellent. Most lines are read verbatim from the comic book. The animation is done differently, but scenes match their respective comic book panels very well. Mark Hamill's performance as the Joker alone is a good reason to watch this film, as he plays his role excellently.
Overall, I wish the prologue had been done a bit better, but I still think this movie is definitely worth watching.

Amazing Album

Schoolboy Q is really innovating and come with something a little different than his debut album. The production here is stellar and it's not "first listen" friendly. Hip Hop has always been about immediate gratification, and I don't see that changing due to its nature. This album took a chance and will grow on you after a few listens. The Track "Kno Ya Wrong is my favorite and I really vibe out to the beat when I listen to it. I give it 4/5 stars.

Finally Got His DVD!!

Great documentary. Scott Hall/Razor Ramon was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up and in recent years, it was very depressing to hear how he had fallen on dark times. This documentary holds nothing back and it is great to see how the man has been getting his life back together. Hall narrates the documentary and comes off very real and likable. Highly recommended!!

The Story Continues!

The second season is a bit more gritty and violent and many character gets a little more screen time than they did in season one. The story line in season 2 is a delayed at times but begins to move faster by the last two episodes. There are some parts that are a little drawn out and I personally feel they could have cut some of those out in my opinion and used that time to advance the story. I'm still giving it five stars though and and you have to see it if you saw all of season one. My hat goes off to Courtney Kemp Agboh and especially 50 cent AKA Curtis Jackson for creating and producing this amazing show!!

Once the first season was available, I picked up and it became hooked midway through the season one. I binged watch season 2 on demand in enough time for the premiere of season 3 a few weeks back. Many twists, turns, relationships, hustling, and fight scenes in this show and it's been a while since I've a show that's this good. Highly recommended!
