If you're reading this you probably know that these speakers sound great .. even at high volume .. while they last. Mine have just finally died after 4 years, but it was a long painfull illness...several years of wire wiggling and speaker kicking to get back a lost channel. There is something very dodgy about the main cable enters the subwoofer. I should have know.. the demo models in BestBuy always seemed to have a crackle when you adjusted the volume, but I assumed that was from in-store abuse...now I'm not so sure. Strangely the price now is higher than when I got them .. I paid $120... not sure they are worth the current asking price. They were nice while they lasted, but I won't be buying another pair.
What's great about it: Sound
What's not so great: reliability, price
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
