they offer a service when you buy a protector theyll put it on for you and any you have in the future but you need to keep getting the replacements for them to do it. one time fee but I think its a little much and maybe not worth it since its gotten easier to put the screen protectors on

it could be just a bad battery. I had the same problem with my iPhone 5 and Apple had a recall for iPhone 5 that serial numbers matched the problem with batteries. Mine serial number matched and they gave me a brand new iPhone 5.
