This tv was a replacement for a 42" and was an upgrade to 4k. Could not be happier with our purchase. It was very easy to set up and connect to wifi. Menu is easy to navigate and the picture is crystal clear!

Screen not very bright

I liked the size of the tablet & it was a good value for the price I paid, $99 on sale, but the screen is not as sharp and bright as I would like. It would be fine for kids since it is an inexpensive tablet but not for me. I'm returning it.

How does this differ from the 49uh6100, which is newer?
There really is no difference. If you compare the specs side by side on LG website they are identical. I have the 49uh6030 and I'm very happy with the picture. The sound is decent thru the built in speakers although we don't use them. We have it connected to Bose surround sound. Easy to connect to wifi and Netflix 4k is AWESOME!
