Good addition to the series, could be better!
on September 30, 2016

Upgrade from 30 to 60 fps, 720p to 1080p, song list 40 to 32. Edit mode replaced with stage editor.
Hatsune miku X is a solid addition to the series, even though the track list os smaller the songs are produced really well, and youll end up finding more than a few to be your favorite.
Some features are more present in this version of the game, one youll notice right away is a lot more dialoge. Sega put effort towards a lack luster story mode that does the job, but seemed unnecessary. The song list is excellent, no older volcaloid songs are present, except in temix melodies which are nice, but really tease not being full songs.
A feature that i found EXTREMLY annoying was dialog aftrr almost every song in story mode, even after you complete it. The force the pet/date sim part of the game a lot more in this version. They made it much more a focus point than in previous entries which I did not like,.
Another addition was concert edit mode, which lets you set the stages to whatever you want. Sad thing is seeing EDIT Song mode gone where you could play community note charts to songs as long as you had the mp3, seeing that feature gone is upsetting as well, but the quality of the main game is still there.
Pros:
Great music, a lot of genres
Challenging
A lot of things to collect
New edit mode
60 fps (HUGE IMPROVEMENT)
Cons:
Forced interation with vocaloids, almost date sim like.
Edit song mode gone
Harder to get costumes than before.
Even with things missing/replaced I still think this game is worth purchasing if you love music games. Definitely needed on the PS4.

Great entry for Monster Hunter
on August 12, 2016

Verified Purchase:Yes
One thing monster hunter is known for is difficulty, and BIG monsters.
Monster Hunter Generations brings monsters from every entry and adds new moves as well!
This is another great entry for beginners, difficulty stays easy till around High rank (50hrs or so), which gives newcomers a good feel for what the game offers. You can easily sink 100+ hours if you are running through to the end of the game.
The addition of Hunter Arts which are "super" moves or special attacks that build up as you inflict damage to enemies and add variety to just basic attack/combo's. On top of Hunter Arts, there Hunter Styles, which are Guild, Adept, Aerial, and Striker. The 4 styles have unique attributes to them,
Guild is the original move set for weapons
Adept allows counter attacks when dodge attacks
Aerial allows you to jump into the air
Striker you get the most Hunter Arts and fill them up quicker.
A really nice feature that really kicks back to the old MonHuns is the travel mechanic to the different cities Pokke (MH1), Kokoto (MHFU), Yukomo (P3rd) as well as having redone themes which was a lovely touch!
Also there's new types of monsters that will give any veteran a run for their money, Deviants which are unique types of monsters with new attacks compared to the original. Then there are Hyper monster, high HP certain body parts glow a blackish red glow that inflict more damage to you, but they also increase your hunter gauge quicker.
A complaint i've read numerous times is that this MonsterHunter is to easy, I would completely disregard them. If you are thinking about Monster Hunter and you haven't made the jump, this is a great entry to jump on for newbies and veterans!
Pros:
+Variety combat
+Many monsters from all around the series are here
+Effort to balance armor skills
+Improved online aspects
+Deviant idea is cool, hope to have it improved more
Cons
-Sloppy monster intro videos
-Beginning can be slow
-Would liked to see more areas
-Lack luster low rank armor skills
Hope to see you hunting!!

Another excellent vanillaware game!

Vanillaware are known for making great 2D hack n slash side scrollers. Odin sphere has great gameplay at the lost of repetition when you start going through all the characters. The art direction is hand drawn fantasy setting, a lot of colors and beautiful artwork.
Gameplay is fluid and all the special moves you obtain syngerize very well with each other to create unique combos based on the player.
Story is interesting and shows depth to each nation/characters motives, desires, goals, and cones full circle, I enjoyed the journey, only downside was you run through the same areas, just more difficult per character, which can be a turn off. Other than reused stages/enemies the game has plenty of replayability and has high degrees of polish, i'd recommend this to anyone interested in 2d side scrollers.
*Played through all books, i'm at 50 hours still enjoying the game!
Positives
+Artwork and characters
+High polished gameplay
+Excellent difficulty scaling
+Inuitive combo system/skills
Negatives
-Reused stages (about 7 or 8)
-Reused boss/mid bosses and enemies
-wanted more exploration stages

Playstation plus is required to play online with the PS4. Sony also gives out free games every month for their ecosystem (Ps3, Vita, Ps4), so its a great deal if you own any consoles and play online. It just an added benefit sense use Ps4 to game online anyway!

Highly reccommend for $5.99 this case if you have a new 3ds xl. It fits perfectly, it adds needed bulk for my hands. My hands used to cramp up over long sessions, but with this case i can play comfortably for much longer. It has the bonus of holding two game cartiages as well.
My case is the black/black one.

Tom Clancy's The Division is a revolutionary next-gen experience that brings the RPG into a modern military setting for the first time. In the wake of a devastating pandemic that sweeps through New York City, basic services fail one by one, and without access to food orwater, the city quickly descends into chaos. As an agent of The Division, you'll specialize, modify, and level up your gear, weapons, and skills to take back New York on your own terms.

Good time killer, worried about longevity

The Division is a good game some points about the game;
All enemies are bullet sponges,
AI is smart for the most part, they'll try to flank you if you leave then unchecked.
Loot based gameplay,
Unique skill tree with many different ways to fine tune your play style,
Better with friends, a mic is pretty much necessary ti be able to communicate
ISSUES that i have with the game is it gets VERY grindy and loses focus longer you play, i hit this barrier at about 30 hours, Endgame consist of heavy grinding, but gettibg to end game is enjoyable, story is okay and leads you along at a pace you want to play at,.
Iverall I would recommend the game, but it is what it is.
MMO style first person shooter, limited end game, a social game.
