Easy Setup and Sound is Wonderful

I consider myself to be practical. I had originally wanted to get surround sound for the living room, but I still remember the horror of running wire through the attic 20 years ago (it still sounds great by the way when I go to visit my family). So I think wireless surround, but you still need wires for power and I don't have the power outlets in the right spots. So maybe I will do surround next time when I build my next house from scratch. Instead being practical, I did the sound bar and it took me 30 minutes to setup and sounds great. I don't have to crank the volume to 30 on the TV any more to hear dialogue. It also comes with a virtual surround and I at first I was like "meh" when I heard it, but I did catch myself turning around a couple of times asking "what was that?" only to find it was coming from the TV, so I guess it means it works. For going the practical route, I am not just satisfied, but I am extremely happy with purchase.

Works Great

If I wanted to stream Netflix or Hulu, I used to use my blue ray player, but it didn't have all the apps, so if it wasn't a top 5 app then I would use my laptop and stream from it. That was a pain too, and going through the trouble to hide my wires on my TV, only to have my laptop showing and power plug running across the living room was aggravating. That wasn't even including the different setups I had in the other rooms. After 15 minutes to setup my Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc accounts on the Roku, I was able to do everything and more than on my previous setup with the blue ray and laptop. The real test was watching a football game with it. The image quality was outstanding, and the Roku ran better than my brand new laptop used to. And moving the Roku is as simple as plug and play when going from room to room. Very impressed.

Great for Baking and Holidays

I bought it mainly for my wife and she loves it. Every week she uses it to bake with the kids. Now that the holidays are approaching, she used it to make sugar cookies and peanut butter cookies on the same day to test her recipes. It came with all the attachments needed, and we didn't need to buy anything extra. The beater and whisk are the ones constantly used, and they still look brand new.
