This is the fire retardant stiffer kind. I had setup my old vent thinking this one would be a cheapy but I was mistaken, these are pretty stiff and well put together.

Dries evenly and efficiently. What I wasnt expecting was that it is fairly quiet for a dryer. Dried comforter, sheets and towels in one load. Did without an issue. I also appreciate the doors can be moved to either side.
