I like the game as it presents neat puzzles and plenty of them. A little on the easy side unless you’re trying to 100% it though. Also not a ton of updates over the wii U version but it is nice to have on the go on switch. The best thing is the price. They didn’t make this one a full $60 like DKCR Tropical Freeze but instead $39.99. With the GCU discount that’s down to almost $30. Certainly a good deal at that point for what you get.

The George Foreman grill has been around for many years now and is still the undisputed champion of the kitchen. Other grills try to emulate it, but the Foreman is still the best. The removable plates are my favorite feature. Dishwasher safe. Couldn’t be easier.

This new 4k version of Predator is excellent. The film itself is one of the all-time best action/sci-fi flicks and now it has a real hi-def version to match its greatness. I could see the sweat beads on Arnold’s forehead from the next room over. Really amazing what they are able to do with a 30+ year old film. You know what, this review is over-I’m going to watch it again now.

Growing up with a NES in my house I knew I had to get this. The nostalgia is great and the game lineup was well thought out. The controller cords are too short yes. And there’s only one controller. These are both some of the reasons I think the SNES classic is better by comparison. However, there is no better way to play many of these legendary games such as Mario 3. You could spend hours upon hours playing through these titles and reminiscing of the old days.

I think this game is good. It’s not one of the best games on the system but it’s probably unfair to compare it to something like Breath of the Wild. If you missed this game on Wii U then it’s a good buy. The action is good and it has a very unique style and story. And it comes with two full games so that gives the high price tag for a reprint some merit as well. I would still suggest finding it on sale or buying it with GCU.

I took a chance and bought both this film and the original Blade Runner to watch over one weekend. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did. Now I respect the original and everything it sets up but the new film is even more a modern masterpiece in my opinion. The new director seemlessly weaved these stories together as though they were planned this way by Ridley Scott all along. The scenery in this film is stunning and is a character unto itself. The sound is captivating and begs for good speakers or headphones. The story is excellent and the actors are fantastic. Gosling and Leto have really been turning out some great performances and this film is at the top of that heap. This movie is amazing and highly recommended.

This film somehow escaped me in the 80s, and now having seen it, I can see why it is revered as such an important sci-fi film. So glad we now have a 4k version which both looks great and grants us a digital code for the first time. Ford is great as usual here and the story is intriguing. Take a weekend and watch this one and the sequel (2049) together. You won’t be disappointed if you’re a fan of sci-fi.

Every Nolan directed film I’ve seen has been great and Dunkirk continues this trend. The film drops you right into the action and doesn’t let up. This is not a slowly developing storyline like many movies. You want a gripping war film from minute one until the credits well then you have it here. The sound cannot be understated. Zimmer’s score is a continuous fear-inducing soundtrack that’ll have your heart racing. Please watch this with good speakers. Also, the steelbook packing is quite nice.

Take on new challenges with the old Kong crew when you play Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for Nintendo Switch. Donkey, Diddy, Dixie and Cranky team up for more jumps and rolls, while Funky Kong climbs onto his trusty surfboard to show off his best moves. Been playing this series since the SNES days of Donkey Kong Country and this installment of the series keeps the streak of great games going strong. These platformers are a lot of fun and Tropical Freeze is one of the few games you get to play co-op with a second player which I value a lot. If you bought the original on the Wii U you may want to wait for a good sale. But if you're like most people (there are now more Switch owners than Wii U owners already) you probably missed this game the first time around and should give it a go. There is new content here including a playable Funky Kong character which is a first! Highly recommended.
