Good backup router

Bought this to replace an old Linksys G router. I have my media devices plugged into it, and my computer network under it as well (firewall computers from sat receivers). It works well at short range but not through walls very well. This is a good inexpensive alternative for apartment dwellers and older folks with few computers. For whole house, I would(and do) use an AC router.
