The amplifier provides plenty of power to drive my speakers. I am happy that it also has a A/B switch so I can use my patio speakers. I will have to buy a preamp to use it for my turntable. For the price you can't go wrong. I purchased the warranty for 15 dollars for 2 years as the cost just for shipping for repair is 60 dollars. Its worth it.

The picture is bright and sharp. The setup was easy. The sound quality is poor to say the least. You can adjust some of the sounds (about 4 modes) but this model has no equalizer. Now I have to spend about $100-$150 to buy a sound bar. Absolutely Ridiculous. You don't hear the sound at Best Buy, you only see the picture quality. If you want a good picture, this model is fine. If you are looking for sound, DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL TV !!! Buyer Beware ! I am suprised this salesman did not mention anything about the sound quality !! What are they there for ???

I don't see why not, as you probably have only 2 wires from your sony going to your amp.

Can you connect to another stereo system ? Using line out / line in?
I am using this to replace a kenwood 5 disc player. Both wires go to the amplifier and separate wires from the amplifier go to the speakers.

There are no speakers on this. You must hook it up to an amplifier. You will need to contact for the speakers.
