Based on Mario Puzo's best-selling novel and featuring career-making performances by Al Pacino, James Caan and Robert Duvall, this searing and brilliant film garnered ten Academy Award nominations, and won three including Best Picture of 1972.

One of the greatest movies ever made

Brando, Pacino, Keaton, Caan, Hayden, Duval.... If you include II Deniro. The list of actors giving top performances whould make this one, if not the greatest movies ever. The scene of the baby christening interspersed with the multiple killings is operatic in its concept. There is nothing wrong with this movie as a movie.

Did not go in search of a curved screen monitor but am glad it worked out that I now own one. Reading the newspaper on line is great, image brightness is so improved that I may have to re-edit some old photos that previously seemed dull. Movie trailers are more enjoyable. base does not swivel but is not a problem. The bottom does not adhere and rotates with ease
