Bought this kit with a few extra bulbs and a dimmer switch. Setup and connection to all devices was easy enough and once it was done I've had no issues and everything just works.
Just had one issue with HomeKit loosing connection to the hub but it went away with an update or something. Could still control lights remotely, even when not home through Hue so wasn't a big deal.
I did my research and the features along with HomeKit connection and good value to money made this the best choice for me.

I've used this device with a number of HDMI devices and generally don't have issues. The USB port is great and I've run multiple devices off it through a hub. Use this with a late 2016 Pro 15" and usually with an ASUS VN279 which occasionally gives me this weird issue of many tiny static dots and a crackling noise. Don't have a clue what causes this but when it comes up (maybe once a week if used daily at most) I unplug it right away, wait a second and plug it back it and all is fine. That's why the lack of 5 stars. In all my years of tech work never seen this before but it's infrequent enough it's not really bothersome. I would trust 3rd party adapter less and I got this because I needed something right away and there wasn't many choices for HDMI.
