Can you freeze the containers?

I wouldn't because liquids expand when they freeze which will cause the cups to crack.

Are the containers able to take hot liquids? Like for hot soups and sauces?

I know they tend to crack if repeatedly put through a dishwasher with a heated dry cycle. I'm guessing it would be ok as long as it's not at a full boil when you put it in the container. No microwave either.
