great option at a great price

I was torn between the Google chromecast and Roku. The chromecast won because you don't have to keep buying the new version to get the updates. Chromecast uses the updates that constantly happen through the apps. Price a plus too. $35 vs. $100.
Two items to consider - this has to be plugged in to an outlet and you have to use your phone or tablet as the remote.

What's great about it: price and ability to upgrade with ease
What's not so great: corded - it should be able to draw power from TV but instead you have to have a cord and plug it in!
