Good Wi-Fi Extender

I experienced difficulty setting this unit up with my Verizon service, however, when I checked on-line, they provided instructions to hook the Ethernet up directly to the unit, and then setting up the extender wasn't too bad. Seems to work well-- we now have a strong signal all over the house.

Are HDMI cables ever "bad," or "lemons?"
I bought an Insignia 8-ft HDMI cable. I am trying connect a Toshiba DVD player to a Sumsung Series 6 (55") smart TV, but it is not being recognized as a valid port. Before I have the TV port investigated, is it possible that the cable could be the problem?

Cheapest and quickest way to find out is to try a different HDMI cable. Be careful, when putting them on make sure they are aligned properly and don't force it-- you can damage the port.
