I really wanted to like this movie....

Not bad, not great (but can anything live up to the pinnacle of the first...really?). As a stand alone movie this was entertaining and enjoyable to watch. The characters were interesting and the plot intriguing. As a continuance of the original Blade Runner movie, its pretty much a let down. It did not even approach the shock and awe of the first film, the aesthetics were often hit or miss as far as emulating the original. Soundtrack was also underwhelming (some nods to Vangelis great soundtrack of the original, but overall a disappointment). The plot: ok and I enjoyed the take on replicants and their replacements.
Great to watch as a stand alone movie. I can't say you will be rewatching this movie more that 2x.

Dark, and raw

The acting was well done. For a war movie, the plot was like many others, but I struggled to connect with any of the characters. First things first: War is violent and cruel. The director definitely made the point with that.
None of the characters had any redemptive qualities and it was difficult to 'connect' with their decisions/actions with each other. I loved Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan; even liked Full Metal Jacket and Platoon as rough movies, but brotherhood movies. But that is because the characters had some humorous or real emotional moments. None of these characters seemed to care about the man to their left and right....but at the end of the day, this is not a movie about brothers, or redemption. The title says it all....

You can never go wrong with PSVR. The content available is wide and has a good verity of choices for all the genres out there. PSVR Skyrim edition is the best bundle available at the moment. You get the full set of (PSVR headset, the new PS4 Camera, 2 of the new PS Move controllers and Skyrim the game for the PS4 system). The PSVR is definitely worth a shot, it is a quality VR experience considering it sets in an affordable cost compared to the other VR headsets out there.

If you are having someone try VR for the first time, this IS the game to try first. Probably the best VR game out there for someone's first time of playing VR games. Great for parties with lots of people or just individual play. Would not recommend for kids under 12 or for anyone who is simply 'hates' going to haunted houses (but really, you 'love' to hate haunted houses, right?). Short game with about 2 hours of gameplay....but I think it's worth it!

I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a few short-ish games to play and/or showcase to your friends and family.
