The songs and the dancing are great but the cinematography make this and AWESOME movie. The movie is a bit long but the colors and landscape help carry you thru.

What's great about it: Seeing it in HD on blu ray was a real joy
What's not so great: Its too much to ask ANY child to sit through a movie thats almost 2 and a half hours long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This movie was my intro to the story and boy was I impressed. everything about this film worked for me. The actors, the costumes and I enjoy period films. The plot of vengeance in the name of love is a favorite of mine. If you have any doubts about purchasing this disc, let me dispelled them now. The only thing missing from this film is the popcorn and soda. :)

Great movie. Worthy of it's Oscar nod

If you enjoy the military genre, this will satisfy on all levels. Smart storyline and intelligent plot made the movie worth the purchase instead of renting. Money well spent. I look forward to watching this movie again.
