I got this primarily to help me keep track of how active I am being, and it has done wonderfully at that. On days when I don't get away from my desk much, it reflects at the end of the day, and as a result I have found myself getting up more often to stretch my legs and generally stay a bit more active.
On the downside, the sleep function doesn't seem to function well at all. For the first week or two I would always put it in sleep mode when I went to sleep, and take it out when I woke up (usually around 7 hrs later), and it would consistently show me getting 2 hrs of sleep. Not sure why it does this, but in the end I just stopped using that function, since it wasn't my primary purpose in getting the device anyway.

This does exactly what you would think: it gives you $10 credit on the PlayStation Network Store. It can be used for games, movies, etc. I don't think it can be applied to a PlayStation Plus membership, but I didn't try that so I can't say for sure.
