Great little radio

I love this little Sony radio. It is just the perfect device for listening to a baseball game when you're at the game or a dirt track race. I bought it to use at Eldora speedway in Ohio with my scanner headset and it works perfectly

No. I've had it for several months and the batteries are still fresh

Can this radio use ear buds instead of head phones

Yes. I've use the headphones that came with it and they work nicely. I have also use my earbuds that came with my Apple iPhone and they work well too. I've also used it with my race scanner headphones and it works
