Stainless preferable to hose

We purchased the stainless so that the installation crew would be able to install the new machine with new hoses for safety. Glad we upgraded to stainless hoses

Why does this machine insist on hot water washes for all settings?

Will only dispense hot water to do wash? Any ideas?

I'm able to program the temp. on the water to cold.
