Is this router good for gaming?
Absolutely, I have a ps4, Xbox one, Xbox 360, multiple phones/blu ray players and haven't had any issues whatsoever!

Is the router DOCSIS 3.0 compatible?
Yes it is but you would still need your own docsis3 modem(or rent from cable company) as this is just a router
