For the most part, Blue Planet II is reference material with a special message rarely stated in BBC Nature documentaries: man is destroying the planet at a rapid pace and researchers and their own filmmakers are finding the evidence that illustrates this plainly.
For one, plastic is poisoning the oceans at an alarming rate.

This movie screamed for 12 bit Dolby Vision, but we got HDR10 instead and if the Dolby Vision streaming version is any indication it would have looked even better.
With all that, it does have better color volume and image depth than the regular Blu-ray and there is an uptick in overall detail.
Plus... Coco has Dolby Atmos on the UHD Blu-ray that is not included on the standard disc.

Christopher Nolan steps back into the director's chair for this sequel to Batman Begins, which finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis - the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes (played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins), and Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger dons the ghoulishly gleeful Joker makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. Just as it begins to appear as if Batman, Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) are making headway in their tireless battle against the criminal element, a maniacal, wisecracking fiend plunges the streets of Gotham City into complete chaos.

The Nolan 4k remasters are not WB's best 4k effort

Plagued with smatterings of heavy DNR and somewhat soft visuals, most of these Nolan Batman remasters are not the end all of UHD Blu-ray picture quality. The IMAX shots stand out, but Nolan insisted on not using the camera negatives as a basis for these new scans, so they're already somewhat gimped compared to what Sony and some other studios normally do.
They really needed new soundtrack mixes since, again, Nolan is probably tone deaf. He's the Woody Allen of modern cinema sound. Stating these are the original theatrical mixes does not leave me with confidence given how poorly Nolan supervised mixes tend to sound. Dolby Atmos from a real professional audio team would have been far superior.
Are they in some ways better than the original Blu-ray's? Yes, in terms of overall picture quality, but still somewhat disappointing when compared to most 4k catalog efforts put forth by Sony... nice, filmic transfers with a lovely amount of natural grain and detail... "A Few Good Men" is a standout in terms of 35mm 4k scans... and usually effective Atmos remixes too.

The drive is a bit on the slow side when transferring files and the case is not very robust and easily scratched. I don't recommend accidentally dropping this as I'm sure it will crack.

I only knocked a star off because the keyboard is quite bulky and after about a year or two, the printing on the keys starts to wear off due to the oils on your skin. It could use a sleep button as well.
Still a better design than anything Logitech has to offer.

Sony seems to be mostly hitting their UHD Blu-ray releases out of the park with very filmic transfers that the other studios can't seem to match right now.
There's also an effective Dolby Atmos remix included. You can relive Phil's day over and over and over again in 3D audio!

Either the cinematography was originally purposely diffused by the DP or somebody at Warner Home Video fell asleep at the DNR switch (perhaps both??), but Batman Begins is easily the least best of the newly 4k mastered Nolan trilogy on UHD Blu-ray.
They didn't even bother rescuing the sound mix from Nolan's typically tone deaf approach to audio engineering... no Dolby Atmos remix either.
And yet it still looks better overall compared to the original Blu-ray release.
