Not Worth upgrading from iPad Air 2

I was planning on selling my iPad Air 2 after purchasing this one. For my use I could not justify the outlay of $300 net difference to buy the Pro. That said iPad in itself is wonderful and if you don't have one I would go ahead and buy the Pro. I returned the Pro with no difficulties to Best Buy. My purchase price was $650+tax for the 128GB model on sale.

Get rid of that Rental Modem Now!

My father was "Renting" a Telephony Cable modem from TWC, as are many folks. It was the Arris TM822G; Modem/Telephone Interface attached to a Dlink Wireless N Router because the Arris product does not have WIFI. Unforunatelly because of using TWC for telephone service they reqiuire that he keeps the 822g for the telephony but they no longer charge for the privilege. Everything I read recommends keeping the Cable modem seperate from the Router even though Motorola/Arris offers this product with WIFI combined. When using the ISP for your Telephony you have to split the wire out of the "Wall" (Coax Splitter runs under 10 Bucks) with one coax going to the 822g for Phone serivce and the other going to the 6183 for internet. Call the provider and give them the MAC address off the new modem and explain you are installing your new Cable Modem so you don't have to pay rental anymore. I connected a new Linksys EA6350 wireless AC Router to the 6183. Everything worked like a champ and the Speed improvement was dramatic. The 6183 has 16 down load channels 4 up vs. the 822G wchich has 8 download and 4 up. I bought both products at Best Buy as they matched the lowest prices and I got points to boot. Good luck!

Nice alternative to BW

We purchased this for our home office/teachers office, second printer. We use an HP PW1102 laser for monochrome printing which is 95% , and this printer for the other. This beats the heck out an inkjet. Cheaper per page and the ink doesn't go bad time wise. The WIFI wouldn't set up with the WPS button on the Verizon Router so I did manual setup with no trouble. Print quality is good except for a bit of magenta toner hanging on to some of the pages. The problem seems to have gone away after a few images. Images per set of toners is unknown as of this writing,

Light but does the Job

This case like most Speck products looks good but is lightweight and still protects. I have dropped a few times with no damage to the phone. No screen on bare floor type impacts, so I can't speak to that as far as protection goes. I like to keep the phone in my pocket and this case has enough rubber on it to grip the pocket a little bit and keep from sliding out.
