Expensive for what you actually get

Someone told me that it would take $20,000 to fill a tank of gas with HP ink (you get so little). But . . . I checked out their monthly ink program and for my needs, I think it will actually save me $ in the end. We'll see how it goes.

Great Printer just lacking some important things

The printer is great - it's just that HP went backwards on this one. There is NO easy option for slipping in an envelope to print one off. They've made it a 7+ step process (crazy). It's recommended for small businesses, but whomever designed it obviously didn't run a small business. We print a letter and need an envelope (quickly). I so miss my old HP6500 where I just lifted the lid, slipped in an envelope and printed it. Easy peasey. I'd have to say this is it's only drawback, but it's a HUGE drawback. I emailed HP about this and they were kind enough to give me a gift certificate, so I bought a small cheap HP printer for doing the envelopes and using recycled paper. Not a perfect answer, but it'll have to do.

If we put the washer in the garage, will the washer be affected by extreme temperature changes?
Depends on what you mean by extreme? Freezing cold - uhmmm - why yes! Water freezes.
