depending on what fitbit tracker you have it can. for some of them you have to input it manually on the website. for the more expensive bands i.e. the charge, charge hr or the surge it will track what activity you do. and only the surge has a gps tracker on it

they are the same thing as i believe all of the fitbits have sleep tracking capabilities except for maybe the cheapest one which is a step counter only. for linking to any mobile phone they have a list on the fitbit website as to which phones they trackers can sync up too. all of the fitbits come with a usb sync device you can plug into your computer so you can sync it.

Data Transfer
If I buy a new Fitbit tracker can the historical data from my old Fitbit tracker be transferred to the new tracker?
all the historical data is stored on the fitbit website server. the tracker is really only needed to connect you to that data. if you switch trackers you will be covered as i went from a fitbit flex to the fitbit charge hr and didnt lose a thing

is there any band that will fit the fitbit charge???
only the flex lets you switch out bands. all the other trackers are stuck to the one you bought originally. if you have an issue with that band its best to email fitbit and they might be able to replace it for free or a small charge

can i wear it in a swimming pool
no do not wear it in a swimming pool. it is water resistant if you get it a little wet i.e. jumping in the shower and forgetting to take it off or washing dishes and getting it wet. swimming with it will surely ruin it.
