Nice device but the shape of the watch face is wedge shaped. so I ended up catching the sharp far edge on coats and sleeves all the time.

Waterproof and a little heavy

I bought this to use outdoors when camping and not have to worry about destroying it. It's a rugged unit but that comes at a price and the price is weight. It's probably 1.5lbs. It's about the size of a brick so it packs well, but I don't think you'll forget you are lugging it along. Another plus, is the PowerBank...it will recharge your phone, I have an older NoteII that it charged just fine.

What features make the Fitbit Surge worth $100 more than the Fitbit HR?
I'm trying to figure out what features (and why those features) make the Surge a better idea than the Fitbit HR. I have a flex.
I dont feel there are features that support the cost differential. I think if you want HR go with a ChargeHR. you get the monitoring but you get a smaller more manageable package.
