Great film

Easily my favorite horror film. I'll spare you the long review and just say that everything about the movie works absolutely perfectly. Michael Myers is the ultimate movie monster, a man who is pretty much evil personified. Carpenter's iconic score is used to brilliant effect as well. It's the quintessential slasher, and stands as one of the most finely-crafted pieces of horror cinema ever.
The 35th Anniversary Blu-ray was worth the purchase.
