Was recommend by sales person as this is a better enclosure, being that it is "ported" Well I guess he was right cause it sure does handle the Alpine S speaker that was installed it it just fine. Excellent sound, low distortion. This thing is huge in the trunk but looks very nice...Hubby is gonna be upset cause he can't put his golf clubs in there now!...lol.

A little disturbing that wasn't told that other additional parts were/would be needed. Purchased this along with other various components for a sub-woofer system. Was told it was good, it crapped out less than 4hrs after installation of it. Buyer BEWARE - when purchasing floor stock / Out of Box equipment-Be sure to get at least a 1 yr warranty on all items. Took vehicle to another Best Buy Geek Squad store, they had a band new in the box exact speaker replacement and installed it due to the warranty I had purchased) Sound is a 100% better and no further issues with this speaker. (Purchased a 2 yr warranty on all floor stock-Out of Box items-Well worth the money)
