Love the Firestick

We just recently cut the cord (cut off cable tv) at our house and purchased a firestick and an AppleTV and use Netflix, Hulu, and free apps online. This device works fantastic for this. You can get all the standard apps off the Amazon Android Store, plus if you are a prime member (like we are) you can get free movies, tv shows, and music.
For the price it was a fantastic purchase and I am actually looking at getting another.

If you are looking for a great Open Headset this is the ones for you. I have tried most other "retail" headsets for gaming and they are either closed or to bassy. These are Open, which means you can still hear the kids, wife, someone knocking on your door, etc and still hear the game sounds perfectly. In fact, Open headsets give a more spacial sound which is great for most games. Very light weight and easy to connect.
My ONLY complaint is that if you lift the mic up, which mutes the mic, people in voice chat or game, if you press your talk key will hear your music playing, etc you are playing on your PC, just not your voice, etc in your room

Do I have to pay a monthly subscription fee or a year prepaid to watch sports live TV? I do have Wi-Fi
Firestick is a device to allow you to install apps that show programming. There are plenty of sports programming available through apps on the Amazon app store, but keep in mind most need a subscription to get.

Firestick itself doesn't carry any programs or shows. You have to download an app that carries those shows.

Can I use a wireless headset with this when it is connected to the TV and watching a movie?
Definitely. I actually have my LG tones + paired to it. Most standard Bluetooth head sets will pair with the Firestick. Setup is easy and found in the menu settings on the device.

It will. CBS all access is an app on the Amazon App store. Just keep in mind you still need to purchase a subscription to CBS all access to get some of the content.

Can I connect this directly to my tv without the use of a laptop or phone? I have wifi hooked up already.
Definitely. It plugs in directly to an HDMI port on the back of your TV. It needs USB power though and comes with a small USB brick to plug into the wall OR you can plug that directly into the USB port on your television if it has one.
