Excellent Portabel Drive

This is a great little drive with 1TB of space, where I use to transfer data and store movies on it. This my second one, and it's very reliable. I've tried 2 other brands before and they would fail, since the hard drive never goes into sleep mode. This little guy would go into sleep mode when not in use. I put mp4 movies on this drive and connect it to my USB port on my TV and I can watch movies directly from the hard drive. The 1TB space allows me to put quite a few movies on there.

Excellent Extra Storage Space

Since I started to archive my Blu-Ray movie collections from disc format to hard drive digital format, I seem to always don't have enough space. Each converted Blu-Ray movie ranges from 8GB to 19GB in size, and I quickly run out of space. This 8TB hard dive is the perfect answer to my photo and movie needs. So far I've already used up 4TB of space, guess I'll be getting a second one soon.
One of the best feature about this drive is that it'll go into sleep mode when not being accessed, and this prevents the hard drive motor from burning out and over heating. I had another brand of hard drive (did not want to mention the brand, cause I didn't want to sound biased), and it never goes into sleep mode and the motor would burn out in about 6-8 months. I had 2 burned out hard drives from that brand, and I'm never buying that brand of hard drive again (and it's a well known and popular brand).

Great movie parallel the game

This is a great movie, animation parallel the game. They portray Nariko's father one way on the game then another way in the movie. I will not spoil anything, but one will make you hate Nariko's father compared to the other in my opinion. This movie is a must have if you like the game and worth checking out. I cannot say one is better than the other except you can play the game and it is a lot longer. The movie is like an alternate universe compared to the PS3 hit. The main plot still stays the same, where other information is different and completely new.

I got PNY 16gb memory card with the SONY A5100. The camera needed 90 my/sec speed memory card, so this card fits the bill perfectly. However, when shooting in burst mode (multiple shots per click), it'll have a little lag time before you can shoot again. The lag time is tolerable, unless you're a sports photographer, where every sub-second counts. This is mainly why I gave it a 4 stars.

Best Buy yet

I decided to upgrade from my SONY NEX5 to the A5100, and I'm glad I did. The focus is instantaneous, much faster than the NEX5, where it had to hunt around for a bit. The quality of the pictures are much better as well. I'm just an average user, and it makes me feel like a pro (when put on fully automatic).
The only problem I had is the camera gets very hot when in video mode (not sure if it's caused by the battery). After 15 minutes the camera would just shut down, and I had to wait for it to cool down before I can power it back on. Also, if it doesn't shut down after getting very hot, the camera would go into bust mode, where it'll take 3 pictures at a time. This got very annoyed after one week of use. I had to return it, and exchange for another one. Since Best Buy sold out all the White A5100, and I couldn't back order it, I had to buy it from Amazon.com. Since it's back ordered on Amazon, I have to wait to see if the over heating problem still exist when I received the new one.
If over heating is an defect, I hope SONY will have a fix soon.

Very good cinematography

This is the second part to the Tai Chi Zero. The cinematography is amazing and the story line is very interesting. the movie mixed the old ways and modern technology. Looks like there may be a third installment. Hope they'll make the third installment.

Will the 16-50mm lens work well for recording or taking pictures during a college graduation?
I would like to be able to buy a camera that has enough zoom to the point where I can see the stage. Will the first lens work or will I have to purchase another lens for zooming?
The 16-50mm is good for short distance. For a large halls, you'll need the 55-210mm lens. They sell the A5100 with the 55-210mm lens as a package. This would be the best deal for you, and the package also save you more money when compared buying separately.
