Luc Besson at his absolute best and the debut of Portman on a killer disc with a great new transfer. This is the international "Leon" cut, so be prepared for a few scenes that might have you squirming with discomfort... and not because of violence. A brilliant film gets a great upgrade. GET IT.

This movie's awesome. The plot is as thin as LeeLoo's bandages, but it's funny as heck, a beaut to the eyes AND ears (oh, that opera scene) and just... FUN. Also one of the most quotable films of all time. And what other filmmaker aside from Luc Besson would cast Tiny Lister as the president of the PLANET? NONE, that's who. Come for the comedic action, stay for the Zorg. And just remember: NEVER press the red button.
PS: these latest upgrades from Sony are gangbusters. I'm not ready to go 4k yet, but these will do until I am.

A modern classic of gothic wonder and practical effects. It never gets old. I'm actually rating it 4.5 stars, but the half is taken off for Keanu. I love you, dude. You tried. I can't wait for Wick 2. But don't ever try this again. :)
