The battery life is excellent. 7 hours of talk time is great.
Every now and then it drops but instantly reconnects. Don't know if that is my phone or the device.
My one major gripe is the earpiece doesn't announce the number of caller. I didn't realize that when I bought it. That type of feature should be basic. I had older earpieces that did this.

The fit was perfect for my laptop and for the backpack it was going in. Other sleeves didn't fit my backpack laptop section.
I'd like it to have a better outside accessory compartment and a handle that could hide. Sometimes it'd be nice to just carry the sleeve into a meeting and not lug the whole backpack.

This is my first computer backpack. I've used briefcases or shoulder bags for 20 years. I'm sorry I didn't switch sooner. This has lots of great features.
Comfortable and easy on the shoulders when when overloaded for a trip.
Good drink holders for water bottles or travel mugs.
Lots of handy pockets to store everything and keep them separate and logical.

notifications sounds
Thinking of getting an S5. My current Motorola Moto XX has only 1 tone for BOTH incoming emails and texts. I don't need to immediately see an email but I would like to know about a new text. Does the S5 have the ability to have two separate tones for email and text?
Yes, the SG3, 4 and 5 can have different tones. But so can your Moto X. I've got 2 Moto X phones and have different tones for almost every notification (Facebook, calls, voice mails, text, email and even news alerts). This is inherent in all releases of android, and is pretty easy to do. You should be able to go into each app and choose the "notification" or ringtone and select different ones. I believe you can set it from settings but to customize it, you should do it within each app.
Ringtone: Go into the "phone", select the 3 menu dots>Settings>Phone Ringtone> select from the various choices under the "complete action using"> Media Storage.
Voicmail notification> section just below ringtone in the same steps above> Sound> Media Storage> select choice.
(text) Messenging app> 3 menu dots> Settings > scroll down to Nofications sections > choose Notification and Sound
