I loved this show when it was on tv, and who doesn't love Ryan Reynolds??? So when this came out on DVD for the whole series, I had to get it! My family is loving as we watch a few episodes each week!

I bought this movie because it was $4.99 and I recalled being interested when it was in the theaters. For anyone that is an Underworld fan, this feels very much like that type of movie, except instead of Vampires and Lycans (werewolves), the battle is between Demons and Gargoyles.
Some good action, a solid story, and very good lead actor and we totally loved the movie!
I have already recommended this movie to friends, and have passed the BluRay around to them.

A sequel that was decent, but not great

After seeing the Maze Runner, I was excited to see the next chapter of the story. It got a little far fetched and not as good as the first one. That being said, it was still enjoyable, and I liked the movie, but it didn't live up to the expectations I had for it.
So like anything, if you go in thinking it is going to be okay, but not great, you can be pleasantly surprised. If you go in expecting the same greatness of the Maze Runner, you will find yourself where I am, being happy I saw it, but not going to be one I have to rewatch...

Hitman 47 is better than the original!

Not to take anything away from Timothy Olyphant as Hitman47 in the first movie, but this one is way better! More action, amazing fight scenes, a non-stop thrill ride! My family came out of it wishing we had seen it on the big screen to enjoy the action on a grander scale!
If you like action movies with fight scenes, this is one for the ages! It will be played over and over at my house! So check your schedules and bring the popcorn. :)

Pan was better than expected

After PAN tanked in the theaters, and got such bad reviews, I was not sure it was going to keep us engaged. Sure there was some goofy choices, like the pirates signing Nirvana's Smells like teen spirit, but I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked the movie!
The back story of Peter Pan was fun ride, meeting James Hook, his friend and partner Sme, and a pretty solid choice of actor to play Peter. Sure it is predictable, sure it is corny, sure it makes you have to believe in things, but go along with it.... allow yourself to believe, be a lost boy again, and enjoy the movie!

Vin Diesel rocks it again!

I admit it, I am a Vin Diesel fan, so even in less than stellar movies, I find enjoyment. THE LAST WITCH HUNTER was not one of those types of movies. Great action, good story line, and enjoyable start to finish. My whole family loved it in the theater, and couldn't wait to get it when it came out on BluRay.
If you like fantasy type movies with witches and magic, or you can appreciate an action movie, this can give you an evening of entertainment!

Classic karate movie, but not your typical...

I remember loving this movie 20 years ago, so now that my sons have gotten into watching Bruce Lee type martial arts movies, I had to show it to them. There is a martial art master "ShoNuff" who is the bad guy, that needs to prove he is the best around. Yet the hero of the story is a martial arts expert that follows the way of using it as defense, not as an offense.
Good story, fun martial arts action and some silly comedy to make it a great movie. Watch it and enjoy!!!

This is my son's favorite game!

Christmas came in the form of a PS4 for my sons, and since then, they spend hours each weekend playing games. The current favorite is Assassin's Creed, and is fun to watch him play!
I know I will sound old saying this, but the new system, first player games often can make me dizzy as a bystander watching them play. But Assassins Creed does not have that same effect. Whether it is because you have to sneak around to achieve objectives, or the pace is not as fast as a game like Star Wars BattleFront, it is a fun ride.
There is definitely violence to earn this game the M for mature rating, but I did not notice the over the top type violence. So I leave it up to parents to decide if their teen is ready for this type of game. As an adult it looks like a fun game, and if I could use all my fingers on the buttons on the controller, I might give it a try, but my speed is more of Tetris... Yes, I am that old! HA!
