They worked well for my needs, and do what they are meant to do well. Minus 1 star because it is easy to crush the mounting plate when tightening the retaining screw. If you are more careful than I, these will work well.

Where is the speaker wire?
Does the speaker wire route through the bracket of does it just stick out of the wall and into the speaker?
I was not able to wire through the mount. Had to use a cable guide to hide the wires.
