Connect up to 4 devices to the coaxial connection from your cable or indoor/outdoor VHF/UHF/FM antenna with this mini drop amplifier. It works with the DC power provided by components, or with the AC power provided by the included adapter.
It says no to satellite box. I have Directtv w/ 2 receivers & 3 tv's to 1 receiver via swim. Will this help w/ reception quality?
No it will not help increase the signal to the Swim. if you have issues with reception quality I would be on the phone with Directv for what they charge.

Do they work for video as well as audio?
Yes if your sending video from the Male end of the adapter the single end to plug into 2 video sources.
