Do you need to purchase a separate data plan for the watch? Or have useable data from cell carrier plan?
No data plan, it all ties through your phone & wifi where available. All set up is via the phone.

Does the SGfit2 heart rate feature make burn marks like the Fitbit ChargeHR?
Hasn't so far, been over a month of use with it.

Yes, it vibrates when your phone is out of range, plus shows a phone icon in the upper right corner as well

Are these headphones comfortable to wear for long periods of time?
They are larger than other headphones, I think it depends on your head size (?). They aren't too heavy for me at all.
