The website here says 3 years warranty. Just bought it in store today, box says 2 years. How long is warranty good for?

How do I use this item in an area where there is no cable, just cellular internet access?
I am going to Jamaica to a very rural area and I need to access the internet. There is reliable electricity through solar power, but no phone or cable lines. There are cellular towers through which I can access wi-fi but I don't know or understand how I can use this belkin product to get reliable internet access otherwise.
