I was a fan of S. Carey ever since I heard "Fire-scene" from his last album. It feels like his songwriting has matured - which is hard to imagine because the last album was so good! There isn't a bad track to be found. Standouts are "Rose Petals", and "The More I See".

A friend turned me onto the white monsters - I was a devout fan of the green ones, and was skeptical that these would taste as good. They taste even better and don't have that aftertaste! Full disclosure: I've never "got" the Monster Hunter series, or that subtype of game based on mission-loot-upgrade flow. But, my friends were having so much fun I thought I'd give it a shot.
The game is very pretty and feels alive with all the florae and faunae. I had a lot of fun creating my character, although she didn't look the same in-game as she did in the character creation section. My Palico is so cute, and honestly a big reason behind me staying in the game as much as I did.
As for the gameplay, the lock-on feature is adequate at best, there is no training/help for the type of weapons/armor you get/create along the way so it's a guess which one is better than the next, and monsters can take an annoyingly long time to defeat.
It's a tough game, and I'm not complaining about that (I platinum'd all the Souls games) but it's the obtuseness of everything that is eventually why I gave up and traded it in. So, not necessarily a bad game, just not for me.

Gotta be honest - FFXII was the last mainline Final Fantasy I fully enjoyed. So it was refreshing to be able to play it again in HD after the train wreck that was XIII and XV (I'm not an MMO guy, so I haven't tried XIV). The fast forward button is a HUGE timesaver, and the newly done soundtrack sounds fantastic. For those purists, you can get the original one, but the difference is negligible.

Best Buy was selling these for $50 so I decided to upgrade from my old Jaybird X2's. This design is so much more comfortable, and sounds better too. The equalizer is a neat feature as well, and can adjust your headphones to any style of sound you want. My only complaint is that there is some lag when trying to watch videos on my phone.
